Our Film Drum Scanning Process

We scan with a Howtek 4500 Drum Scanner. We scan your film with the highest level of quality and care. The high level drum scanner will scan your film at a grain level to show the image exactly how the film captured the image. The film will be scanned in a very flat tonal and exposure dynamic, allowing you to retouch it in your own manner. The liquid mounting does a fantastic job at giving a clean scan without imperfections or dust spots. The film will not be spotted or retouched by our studio. If the film is damaged on arrival or shows imperfections, then the owner will be in charge of retouching. Your scans will be sent via wetransfer.com to your email. Your film will then be mailed back to your address.
